The activities of the Institute is managed / controlled by the Governing Council, constituted by the Govt. and the day to day activities are managed by the Director who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute. The activities of the Institute are grouped in to seven major divisions. The Technical Divisions are headed by the Joint Directors and Scientists- F who are the senior most Officers – next to Director.
